   Nedra («Dawn is about to break») was formed in 1999. Within long-lasting three years, the band played more than 70 concerts, recorded one concert and one studio demo-album. It is impossible to specify a certain style for the band: folk-rock, reggae, rock-and-roll and even jazz can be found in their music (but it’s better to listen to once than read twice). Having perfected 20 to 30 songs, the band set off for conquering Moscow and other cities of our immense Motherland. So, they went many times to the following clubs and concert arenas of Moscow: “Avalon”, Vysotskiy’s home place/museum, “Yozhkin kot”, “Neformat”, “Oracle of divine bottle”, “Crossroad”, “Plekhanov”, “Sunny” stage (Izmaylov park), “Ancient town”, “Third ear”, “Torch”, “Outpost”.
2. Fors Minor - Sil'viya

   Style: Funck-Rock. Year of formation: 2002. All musicians, except Denis Konstantinov, are students of various musical educational establishments of the city. Denis is a professional sound producer. Presently, the band is working on the debate album. A site with detailed information about the team is being prepared for publication and concert album that will be accessible at the site.
3. Vremya Ch - Veter

   The idea about establishment of Vremya Ch band (see viola-player Danilov) came into life in 1990, and was implemented as the first team of musicians in May 1991. The first album “The festival of wine and love” was recorded this year. The band participated in rock festivals in cities of Samara and Tolyatty (Avtograd, The worst one, Rock against drugs, ets) and in concert tour Live Sound. “Veter” song is included into Fracture album and was recorded in 2000-2002. A new album is being recorded now.
4. Muab-Galsh - Obernis'

   It is one of the most famous and popular teams of Perm city. The team was formed in the beginning of the 90s on the basis of «Shlagbaum» (“Barrier”) band, which appeared earlier (middle of the 80s).
5. The Stockmen - Po griby

   The first rockabilly-band of Ural. The band was organized in 1999. The first name is The KILLBILLIES. The team is orientated at STREET ROCKABILLY style, that is the tough rock-and-roll of the fifties with a minimum of sound effects, producing the energy of the real rockabilly that comes from South States of the USA. In its music, The STOCKMEN also work in congenial trends of music: BLUES, JAZZ, COUNTRY, TWIST and so on. The instrumentation of the band is also typical for the rockabilly: guitar, contrabass, drums. Being devoted to its style, The STOCKMEN sings in English, but they have Russian songs in their repertoire as well. The STOCKMEN played at almost all arenas of Ekaterinburg, among which were the really commercial ones. The team participated in multiple rock-actions. In 2002 The STOCKMEN recorded the “BLOW-OUT” album, which was released by Swedish label “OLD-ROCK RECORDS” www.old-rock.com (ORR 2003-3). The songs with “BLOW-OUT” were broadcast in Novorosiysk, Krasnodar, Kiev, and in France, the USA, Australia, etc. In February 2003, the boys were offered to participate in Brazilian collection of saykobilly, especially for which 4 songs were recorded.
6. 7000$ - Dozhd'

   7 thousand bucks (7000$) was formed in 1999. On 21 April 2001 the band recorded a concert album and “Ska” song appeared a month later. Moreover, local radio stations broadcast the songs of the group On 31 August 2002, the group won the first place at the final gala-concert of “Sprite” Festival in St. Petersburg. Girls throw away their bra, boys are crying. It is clear to everyone that this victory is one more injection of the adrenalin for the future success. Presently, the team is compiling its first studio album.
7. Komanda Osen' - Rekviem

   “Autumn team” was formed by the famous Moscow musician Mykhail Krechetov in 1992. Since then the band has survived 5 reincarnations. Band members and repertoire kept changing, but frankness and optimism of their songs and powerful energy generated by the team remained unchanged. The Autumn team is one of the the brightest and “live” teams playing rock-and-roll and rhythm-and-blues at festival and club stages of Moscow.
8. Provereno - Lyubov'

   The band was formed in 1999. Ms Margarita Gorshkova is the one who writes songs. She is also a soloist of the band. The band is extremely popular in Novosibirsk city. You can listen to songs of the band on Novosibirsk radios. The band participated in many festivals. The band started with the punk-rock and today they play Russian rock-and-roll.
9. Uvarov - Venok pechali

   Maksim Lebedev-Uvarov was born in Moscow in 1967, where he lives now. He has been playing music since childhood. From 1988, he has been a member of various rock bands. Starting from 1989, he had been gradually involving himself into studio work, but the first completed studio album was produced only in 1992. In 1994, “Orkestr Marginalnoy Mistery” band was formed by him together with Vladimir Talisman. Simultaneously with activities within “Orkestr Marginalnoy Mistery”, Maksim started recording songs that could not be included into “format” of the “Orkestr Marginalnoy Mistery”. Unlike many authors working in only one style (blues, hard, pop, haus, etc.), Maksim Lebedev-Uvarov constantly makes experiments with various styles. The names of his songs prove this: "Belogvardeyskiy Byuz" (“White Guard Blues”), "Mindalniy Reggy" (“Almonds Reggae”), “Romance-Blues”, “Svalyu-Kasatchok”. From 1999, an epoch of "GUSY-LEBEDY" (“Geese-and-swans”) project started in cooperation with his wife Lyudmyla Guseva. In 2000-2002, two pure studio rock music projects “AeNeRBeeN” and “Fossa” were recorded. "Ratniy album" (“Martial album”) was recorded in 2002, and just recently, in 2003, Maksim finished recording new album “Nostalgia”.
10. Fomina Nedelya - Polet

    “Fomina nedelya” was formed in 1998 and performed in various clubs of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Among the assets of the band is its appearance in the semi-final of the musical marathon "Sprite – zhazhda uspekha" (“Sprite – craving for success”). An hour and a half-long live broadcast in program "Masterskaya Dryuppe" (“Dryuppe’s workshop”) (NBN-TV channel, St. Petersburg). The songs of the band have been broadcast by various radios including Radio Roks, “Gardarika”, "Mayak -24" (Beacon-24), "radio Rossii" (Radio of Russia), "Russkiy Shanson" (Russian Shanson) and others. From time to time, the following musicians participated in the records of the band: Sergey Chigrakov (Chizh), Yevgeniy Barinov, Mykhail Vladimirov ("Chizh and company" band), Valery Kochekura (PUSHKING), Maksim Ivanov ("Torba-na-Kruche"), Sergey Tatarintsev and others
11. 48 chasov - Ya schastlivym byl

    The “48 hours” was organized in 1998 as a studio project. The team does not restrict itself within the limits of certain styles or trends, but it lays special emphasis on the guitar sound. Songs are produced by the group members.

    A result of the Internet cooperation between musician L. Raykov and author of texts and poet T. Izaak. The project started in 2000. By today, the outcome is the demo-album "Rusalka" (“Water-nymph”). As usually, it is not easy to specify the genre. This is quite multifarious combination of elements of author songs, art-rock and pop. It is still unclear whether the project would be continued. L. Raykov is now working on a solo album with songs in English. Each of the project participants have been working in his own field for more than ten years already: L. Raykov has already recorded 6 magnetic albums. Just recently, after a lot of efforts T. Izaak was persuaded to prepare his first collection of poems.
14. Fantom - Strannye pesni

    “Fantum – the band that does not exist!” This was exactly the idea behind the project in 1995. Until the beginning of 2003, “Fantum” was exclusively studio project – «imagination is faster than sight, and charm that usually comes in through ears and comes out through eyes ».* Three albums have been recorded by the band and are still to be released. Two promotional singles were issued and distributed among radios and friends who became admirers of the band. Periodically, compositions of the Phantom appeared on collections “Hit-courier”, “Propaganda” and were broadcast by some regional and Moscow radios. Modesty is the sister of talent, but not for musician. This is in the past of the project. The time has come and the Phantom of Sergey Lyubin is starting its concert activities soon. Stylistics of the project exists between styles of bard, rock, pop, soul, experiment. The style of text is surrealism in feelings and thoughts.
15. Cool In Ich - Ran'she bylo...

    This project was started by Igor Kulinich. He writes songs himself and friends from company "MUSIC SITY" help him with arrangements. He was born, brought up, lived and went to school in Kremenchug city of Poltava region. The first musical experience was gained in a company of his friends on guitar. Having finished the railway technical school, he went to Nadym, the Northern area of the country. From 1984 to 1987, he was a soloist of “SNOW” band in St. Nadym settlement, where the band had a lot of rehearsals and worked a lot along roads in settlements of workers. From 1987 through 1990, vocalist in “RICHARD the IIIrd” band. The band worked a lot but gave very less performances. At this time they usually participated in rock-festivals and, invariably, were the first. 1990-1992, city of Donetsk, sound producer in “Wild honey” band (wild team, excellent Russian rhythm and blues). From 1992 to present, he is in Moscow. He seldom performs solo, with friends, club life as backing vocal. The work on the first solo album is in progress.

    "Beefeater" was found in 1993. Initially, the band's name was “Pilgrims” and its works were mainly orientated on romantic and knightly themes with the use of the flute and mandolin within the set of instruments. During the nineties, the band performed a lot at various arenas (the so-called “music rings”). At one of the music rings, it was decided to change the name to "Beefeater". Simultaneously, they kept working at home making records of the accumulated audio-material, video-records of rehearsals and concerts, several times the group appeared on the 11 TV channel (Cpb.). Among the achievements of the band is also the full-scale magneto-album “Hunting season for people”, which review was published in “FUZZ” magazine, as well as the second position awarded at the musical festival that took place in the Institute of Cinema and Television in 1998. In 2001, "Beefeater" was the third at the festival “ROCK-VOENMECH-2001”. Lately, the band performs actively in various clubs: “Friday”, “Faculty”, “Manhattan” and others. The Internet-radio "Specialradio.ru" has been broadcasting songs “From tangled embrace” and “I hate you” since December, and the same songs are in the TOP-40 of the website "Realmusic.ru".
17. Ikhtiandr - Son

    Found in 2001. In the middle of 2002, after all members were put together, the team got its own unique style. The band had a simple plane to combine melodiousness of the British music with original meaning of words and pleasant performance. Violence plus melodiousness. The band continues active studio works, it records demonstrative materials consisting of nine compositions at “Salam” studio and “Dream” composition at “Panther” studio. After short concert activities, the boys concentrated on studio work again. This time their aim is to work on compositions from the demo-record included into team's repertoire (Intro; From ground to sky; We'll wake up some time; Gods got crazy). Presently, the band is one of the most promising teams of Tver city, it has a long record of mentions in press and on various Websites, offers of co-operation keep coming from producing centers and agencies.
18. APM - Druz'yam

    The APM (Artel of positive music) band was organized in 1989. It produces live music in the individual style combining elements of folk-rock, retro, classics, and hard-rock. The band works both in electronic and acoustic variants. The instrumentation includes bayan, violin, flute, guitars, percussion instruments. «APM» is a permanent participant of music programs on radio “Slaviya”, “Russian radio”, “Modern”, “Europa plus”, etc. The band recorded three albums. The APM is the prize-winner of the regional festival. It participated in the first All-Union Festival “Rock-acoustic” (city of Cherepovets). In 1994, it was among the first four best bands at the rock championship “Kurazh children”. The band often gives performances abroad.
