1. Brat'ya Po Razumu - Terrorizm

   One of the oldest bands of “classic” Russian rock doesn’t stay on one place and continue its experiments both with music “texts” and with all possible contexts. The song “Terrorism” was written immediately after the events of 11th of September. It was arranged the same year, but this song remain actual at the end of 2003. Garage punk stylization with positive mood was included in new album of “Rock-ko-ko” band.

   METAMPSI – it is a brave small flower, which broke through the pile of bits and pieces of people’s destinies, bleeding with all unshed tears and devastated grief of the world. Charmingly tragic. Actors: Mishanya, “Baltiyskoe more”, vocal, text, action; Kir “Volosataya Gladil’naya Doska” Bogdanov, guitar, melody; Leh “Kompositor” Bogatkov, bass - pressure; Aleksey Belolugov, play - drum. Session musicians: Julia Megunova, violoncello; Alexander “Komar” Komarov (ELIZIUM), trumpet. The present for all fans of advanced “Weather Report” style of music.

   “Lis i Laplandiya” band was formed in February of 2001 to play in live music with wise texts. The band consists of: Lalenkov Sergey (Lis), ideological inspirer, vocal, solo-guitar; Vasiliy Bogatov, back – vocal, bass - guitar; Vlad Shcherbakov - drums; Vladimir Pechenkin acoustic guitar.
4. Idoly Molodezhi - Slepaya Devushka

   This unpretentious name hides the talented band of musical geniuses and poets – luminaries, members of – Order of courtesan mannerists, whose official site is quite popular (www.okm.ru). It is a polystyle band, which play hedonistic pops, hip – hop chanson , jazz, ballades and dark but sincere rock. The main aim of the band is to make the quality hits and propagandize pure positive (life is too negative even without this). Rich “musical luggage” lets the Idols to combine the brilliant programs for pensioners and pioneers, bankers and homeless people, fastidious critics from musical press and thoughtful girls. Concerts of the band include performances of naughty and wise, really courtesan poetry; sacrifices of dolls; dances of hairy woman and Lilliputians. Even audience joins them, even if the people don’t plan to do this. Music: Konstanten Grigoryev, arranger Denis Rozadeev and keyboardist Alexander Pantuhin. Texts are written by 2 members of Union of Russian writers: Grigoryev and Andrey Dobrunin. Saxophonist, drummer and bass – guitarist will join the band soon.

   "Zapolem" should be pronounced as one word, making accent on "Za"-)))))))))). “Led Za Polem” band was never formed, it brewed as wine by May of 2001. LZP calls their style “grock – music”. Idol of many generations, great American writer Robert Hanlain offered us not to understand, feel or experience the world but “grock” it (see the religious book of hippie "Chugak v chugoi strane"). But "Led Za Polem" - it is not only Music. Their aim is to unite people in their best desires, let them feel as community and let them feel their strength. The members of band say: “We declared the war against the loneliness of good people”. "Rock" always was a tool of protest and destruction. Rock of “Led Za Polem” it is a protest against destruction.
6. Zlye Kukly - Iskusstvo Lgat'

   Now “Zlue kuklu” (Jerusalem) is probably the only one Israel Russian – speaking band, which plays “dark romance”. Compositions of this band is full of melody, black humor and specific atmosphere, which brings the audience to other worlds, promising the terrific but fascinating and interesting trip. The band exists since 2000, and now collection of the band has grown to two full-size albums ("Pozdniy sentyabr” 2000, "Chugoi nebesnuy gorod" 2002) and few singles.
7. Absent - Zelenaya Feya

   In opinion of “Absent” band, the spring of 2000 is the time, when the band was formed, because exactly that time the personnel defections, which lasted over a year, has stopped. By the end of 2000 the band recorded “Naplevat’” single, which was included in collection of Fuzz magazine “Novaya volna gitarnogo roka” and in “Propaganda – 2” collection. The band began to record demo-album in 2002 and in May of 2003 the band was joined by second guitarist Vyacheslav Mareev, who is also the member of “Zerna” band.

   IFK is the most successful, good and famous band in Russia. They are all right with what they have – lots of girls, money, cars, luxury villas, expensive drinks in bars, petrol stations, good authors - friends, connections in governments of different countries, couple of football teams, Indian elephant, plant plantations in Colombia, small plot on the Moon, the own star in Cosmic space, stylish cow from the third floor, unrealistic fathers, mothers, statuses and pothouses and many other things, which are unfeasible for normal people. On 20th of May the country celebrates the birthday of IFK, 8th of October – the anniversary of first performance. On these days the band receives congratulatory telegrams from colleagues – members of less famous bands, such as Rage Against The Machine, Biohazard, Motorhead, RHCP, Clawfinger, Soulfly, Rammstein, etc. Everybody wants to praise them due to their persistence, generosity, courage, wisdom and simplicity. But IFK doesn’t need that. They want more – domination over the world and total worship. Combination of letters “IFK” appeared in dreams of legendary Pashtet, when he was asleep on the delftware lavatory pan at the time of dejection. After the couple of thousands of rehearsals the performance of IFK in “Alyabyeff” club made everybody to sweat. So, it was the beginning of new metal. Furious experiments and powerful energy – that’s adult way. Accordingly to chroniclers, everything may happen during IFK concerts: dancing, jumping from the stage, thoughtful immersion in greatness of musical forms, unlimited drinking, dirty sex and gas emission (from laughing gas to neuro – paralyzing gas), joyful scuffle and other stuff. Global syndicate doesn’t have any problems — creative, personal or financial. This lifestyle calls “total chocolate”. Strictly speaking it is the beginning of real party. Only the astronaut of the soul may resist stiff pressing, which is given to the members of the band due to creative wealth. Except fighters of first call-up: ChikaDi (vocal), Maks Galstyan (guitar), Vadya Bayrash (tractor – bass), Mitya Vubornuy (bass), Aleksey Bakurkin (drums), coryphees include two brilliant madmen, who made the Afro – American sportsmen to leave the Olympic village: Petr Zhavoronkov (drums) and Tikhon Kubov (vocal). They added petrol to bloody bath. Thanks to their efforts, the band finally achieved intergalactic level, and new band, ruining two oligarchs, proceeded to creation of material, which exceeded the expectations of even experienced musicians from Kirpichi, Korn and Limp Bizkit. Accordingly to their words: “New songs are the energetic mixture of rap hard – core of “Ìosquito Man” Ages, modern drive and stiff intellectual texts. Soon mere mortals will be able to listen to this Music, which begins with capital letter.
9. Mongol Shuudan - Yubochka

   Everybody knows them. It is generally accepted to consider the 1st of April 1989 as the birthday of the band. The members of the band, who played hooligan “heavy – polka – rock’n’roll”, have gone out of the basement in September of distant 1988 and discovered the new genre – anarchic – rock. Civil war heroes of reading – books came to life in the songs of the band, while it was noticed that famous Nestor Mahno rose from the dead as leader of this musical band Valeriy Skoroded. As it is supposed to be in anarchism environment, after the numerous splits and war of everybody against everybody, by winter of 2003 brothers again has gathered around their ataman: Vadim Kotel’nikov (guitar, ex-KLINIKA) and Aleksey Bukov (drums, ex-Zheleznui POTOK, LEGION, KOROZIYA METALLA).     Pioneers of Death-Metal style in Russia. Authors of the own special style “Diesel – rock”. Concert shows of KRUGER are rarely left without pyrotechnics, light and fire – spitting Hammer, with its special guitar tricks made in hammer – Hendrix – blackmor style. Hammer (guitar, vocal), Jina Rock’n’Roll (bass- guitar, vocal) and Diesel (drums) are the active and firm fighters, who walk in the advance – guard of everlasting fight for heavy rock.

    We are very serious guys. Be careful with the words when you stay close to us. We play Hard-core, but we listen to everything – from Madonna to Limp Bizkit. Guys, come down: Kirill Vostrikov has voice, Vladimir Medvedev has his own guitar, Maksim Ustinov has bass and Sergey Smushlyaev has his own drums. “Rebyata uspokoites’” (Guys, come down) it is the name of our album.

    In 1993 Sergey Shmelev (from Suzran) moved to Tolyatti and met there Evgeniy Androsov. Together they formed “Karaul” band based in trolleybus administration. Later they moved to Palace of Culture “Ubileinuy” and changed the name for “5ui element”. Sergey left the band in 1999 and began to form future "FM" band. During these 4 years the members of the band were changing intensively and continuously: Egor Rugenko (solo – guitar) and Andrey “Zombi” Shcherbakov (drums) – VREMYA - Z; Michael Leontyev (bass- guitar); Sergey “Gogol” Radaev (saxophone); Igor Vlasov (solo – guitar) and Maksim Adamov (bass – guitar) – BERESHI; Andrey Zakurdaev (bass – guitar) – PRISTUP DEPRESSII and Leila Kalantarova – back – vocal. Two years later the band has been reliably formed as follows: Sergey Demin (solo – guitar), Michael Stragin (drums), Michael Leontyev (bass – guitar), Leila Kalantarova (back – vocal) and Sergey Shmelev (guitar, vocal). Soon Michael Stragin has moved to “BERESHI’ band and his place was taken by Aleksey Karablin, who is still working in the band, Michael Kogevnikov has replaced Michael Leontyev.

    VDRUZGVIOLA. This word is about 5 years old, but we play together only for few months. The band was created by two people: Kondaurov Dmitriy (vocal, music, guitar, lyrics) and Kondaurov Stanislav (drums, mad energy). Kravchenko Egor, wonderful person and unique bassist has joined VDRUZGVIOLA in 2002. Shura “Chek” Lampitch, the member of “ANTICLONE” band, always helps us as second guitarist. The first performance of the band took place in 2003. Exactly the year 2003 can be considered as the year of foundation of the band. VDRUZGVIOLA – it is a team. Here everybody feels responsibility for what we are doing, everybody is a patriot of the own music and as a result of broad musical preferences, in our creative work we try to combine the great number of moods.
15. Kooperativ Nishtyak - Rabota V Belom

    An the beginning of nineties "Kooperativ Nishtyak" was one of the most bright and famous “Siberia punk” bands. At different times both musicians of the band were members of “Instruktzii po vugivaniu”; most of early hits of “Instruction” were written by Kirill Rubyakov, the vocalist of “Kooperativ Hishtyak”. The second member of the band, multi – instrumentalist Alexander Andrushkin pluralistically plays drums in “Gragdanskaya Oborona” for almost 10 years. At different times he played drums and keyboards in the following bands: “Chernuy Lukich”, “Rodina”, “Instruktziya po vugivaniu” and “Kul’turnaya revolutziya”. “Kooperativ” played with such stars of “siberian punk” as Igor “Jeff” Zhevtun (guitarist of “Gragdanskaya Oborona” and “Yanki”) and Evgeniy “Jackson” Kokorin (“Chernozem”, “Rodina”, “Instruktziya po Vugivaniu”). Kirill Rubyakov is known as one of the best poets of Rusiia. Texts of “Kooperativ Nishtyak” is mostly dark gothic romanticism, alchemical motives interlaces with black esoteric and caustic existential irony. During nineties, the music of “Kooperativ Nishtyak” has evolved from noise experiments and punk in direction of dark - folk, neoclassic and gothic esoteric music. Modern “Kooperativ Nishtyak” can be compared with British esoteric project Current 93.
16. Dekabr' - Lepestki

    The band was formed in St. Petersburg in 1998 on the bits and pieces of "TRAUBEN KALZIUMÚ" team. At that time the band consisted of: Semenov Mikha, vocal and texts; Aleksey Afanasyev, bass-guitar, already famous both as member of "NO ONE GETS FUN" band and thanks to the own project “RUBU”; young and hitherto infamous drummer Danila (Kimbl) Vinogradov and also Yugan Igor, guitarist who hitherto didn’t leave traces anywhere too. Daniil Vinogradov left the band on his own will in 2000. Oleg Bondarenko took his place. Main principles – quality performance, friendship, positive settings, mixture of concepts and primitive things. The band doesn’t consider its music as the background for fighting and after – lunch rests. Out music isn’t a Procrustean bed. We create whatever we want. Pop and post – punk, hard – core, funk, clanks, gnashes, noises, thistles and cactuses, tea, beer and ravioli. Everything has smelled up with Russian spirit, it is not the bast forgery, it is the feature of the character. Not the pupils, not the idealists - just simply good guys..

The band has nursed five albums during all history of the band and continuous destruction of consciousness of fools – individuals.. But it is too early for you to relax.
